Illamasqua is a British born make-up brand which believes in expressing individuality. Although the design is very straight forward of this logo, the combination of the 'Q' and 'L' at the top creates and impact as it resembles a cross. This symbolises religious imagery as the cross could be interpreted as the Christian cross which infers that people who have an interest in make-up must religiously swear by it.
This logo is part of the Too Faced cosmetics brand. The black and white concept gives the logo and sharp and clean look. However, this logo manages to stand out due to the animated curvaceous woman in the middle. This image makes the target market (women) feel as if they will have the confidence of the animated woman by using the products although they do not have the same figure as her. Therefore, women will believe that by using this brand they will feel glamorous and have a high self esteem. The company have been intelligent in naming the brand 'Too faced' because consumers are manipulated into having a second or 'two' faces.
This logo is widely recognised as the American clothing company, which was established by the designer Jeff Lubel. True religion believe that their jeans are 'premium denim' which is handmade in America. This is why the brand is named 'True Religion' as the denim is original and unique. The Buddha is used in the logo to represent the concept of the brand being a religion, in other words it portrays that stylish fashionistas must swear by it. Moreover, the Buddha is also a creative character which could be seen as bringing humour to the brand. The title is in blood red capital letters which stands out and represents desire.

Fashion & Beauty Logo's

This widely recognised logo is part of Yves Saint Laurent's brand. They use this logo to promote the brand as 'YSL' is the abbreviation for the full name of the label. The brand was brought out by late Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent, a French designer, who has a great success in designing luxury branded clothing for both men and women. YSL has also introduced a luxury beauty range for women too. The colour gold represents the fact that this is a well respected and luxury brand, whereas the sleek letters represent the smart and sharp style of clothing.
